Barleywine lovers, this one’s for you. To mark National Barleywine Day, we’re rolling out a single keg of Lord Maris Visits Munich, our 15% barrel-aged barleywine first released earlier this year.
Built from a 50/50 blend of Maris Otter and Munich malt, boiled for 24 hours to coax out rich natural caramelization, then aged for 12 months in bourbon and apple brandy barrels, this beer is a slow-burn masterpiece.
We’ll be pouring it 6 oz at a time. That’s the only way to approach something this bold, and when it’s gone, it’s gone.
